Equine & Rider Combined Bodywork
"It is amazing to see the difference in both the horse and rider movement patterns after I have done the release work."
Renae Fowler
Horse & Rider Treatment
Combined therapy for precision, power, and peak performance.
With every stride, horse and rider influence one another. Peak performance depends on balance, both in the horse and the rider. At The Balanced Duo, each partner is assessed individually: horses through equine bodywork, a detailed evaluation of the horse’s balance, and muscle function. The rider posture assessment focuses on rider biomechanics through alignment, posture, and movement assessments.
Any restriction, tension, or imbalance in horse or rider can reduce speed, precision, and agility in competition. By combining targeted rider treatments with advanced equine bodywork, this approach improves strength, recovery, and responsiveness.
The result is genuine horse and rider alignment, a seamless partnership where horse and rider move as one. This method of combined horse and rider therapy gives competitive athletes the edge: sharper performance, clearer communication, and lasting results in the arena.
Equine Works
Equine bodywork that restores balance and unlocks performance
Before Renae starts any treatment, every horse is individually assessed to uncover areas of tension, restriction, or imbalance that may be limiting comfort, movement, or performance. Through equine bodywork and equine muscle release therapy, each treatment is tailored to support recovery, restore mobility, and optimise overall wellbeing.
For competitive riders, this can mean sharper performance, faster recovery, and greater alignment between horse and rider. For horse owners, it ensures long-term comfort, soundness, and a happier, more responsive partner.
Treatments are tailored to your horse’s individual needs, with the aim of restoring balance, releasing restrictions, and optimising wellbeing. The result is a horse that moves more comfortably, feels more responsive, and is better able to perform at its full potential whether at competition level or simply enjoying the ride.
Rider Therapies
Unlocking connection through rider alignment and body awareness
Your posture, movement patterns, and physical imbalances don’t just affect you, they directly influence how your horse moves. Through tailored rider posture assessment and a focus on rider biomechanics, each session is designed to improve alignment, strength, and body awareness, both in and out of the saddle.
For competitive riders, this means sharper aids, better balance, and greater harmony in performance. For horse owners, it supports comfort, confidence, and a stronger connection with your horse.
By addressing restrictions and restoring balance, rider therapy enhances your effectiveness while supporting your horse’s comfort and wellbeing. When paired with equine bodywork and equine muscle release therapy, the result is genuine horse and rider alignment.
